Making My Day

Dear Kristi,

I had a fairly gross day today and was so happy when I got home to find your package. I know that I was fairly reticent about receiving a present. I truly did just want to surprise you with the signed book.

However, I can not thank you enough. I had to pay bills (among other things) and kept your happy yarn by me the entire time. It made the pain (of watching my bank account drain) somewhat bearable. I'm looking forward to swatching it and deciding just exactly what I will make out of it.

Then again, it may become "core stash" because of the special memories it will always bring me.
